Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

– Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport

– Meet with a representative from Panda Adventures Safari

– Transfer to your accommodation in Arusha

– Spend the rest of the day relaxing and adjusting to the local time

 

Day 2-8: Mount Kilimanjaro

– Depart from Arusha and head towards Mount Kilimanjaro

– Start your climb of Mount Kilimanjaro, which usually takes around 7 days

– Follow the Machame Route, known for its scenic beauty and higher success rate

– Trek through various landscapes including rainforest, heath, and alpine desert

– Camp overnight at designated campsites along the route

– Reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Uhuru Peak, at 5,895 meters above sea level

– Descend and finally exit the park

 

Day 9-10: Serengeti National Park

– Depart from Arusha and drive to Serengeti National Park

– Enjoy game drives in Serengeti, known for its incredible wildlife and wide-open plains

– Look out for the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) as well as other animals such as giraffes, zebras, and cheetahs

– Witness the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras move in search of fresh grazing lands

– Stay overnight at a campsite or lodge in Serengeti

 

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater

– Depart from Serengeti and journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

– Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to diverse wildlife

– Enjoy a full day of game drives, with the chance to spot various animal species including lions, elephants, and rhinos

– Experience the unique landscape and stunning views from the crater rim

– Overnight stay in a lodge near the crater

 

Day 12: Karatu – Arusha

– Depart from Ngorongoro and drive to Karatu

– Visit a local Masai village and learn about their traditions and culture

– Explore the beautiful town of Karatu and its surroundings

– Transfer back to Arusha for your final night in Tanzania

– Optional: Explore the local markets or visit cultural sites in Arusha

 

Day 13: Departure

– Depending on your flight schedule, have breakfast and relax at your accommodation in Arusha

– Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure

– Bid farewell to Tanzania and end your safari adventure with Panda Adventures Safari
